Mega-Agency
A bad migration can undo years of SEO work in an afternoon.
Most redesigns lose rankings. Ours don't.
The most common mistake in a redesign is treating it like a fresh start. Throw away the old URLs, rebuild everything in a page builder, launch without redirect mapping — and watch organic traffic drop 30–60% in the weeks that follow. We've cleaned up migrations that other agencies rushed through.
The difference in our process: we start with a content audit before a single design decision is made. Every URL is inventoried. Every piece of content that's earning traffic is flagged. Every redirect is mapped. The existing schema is preserved and improved, not discarded.
If you're sitting on an Elementor build that embarrasses you, or a Wix site that's been holding you back, or a WordPress installation that's seven versions out of date — you can fix it without starting from zero. The SEO equity you've built can survive the rebuild. We make sure it does.
Every migration and rebuild ships with all of this.
No upsells, no add-ons, no "redirect mapping costs extra" surprises. The full migration scope is below.
Content audit
Every page evaluated: what's earning traffic, what needs improvement, what can be consolidated, what should be removed.
URL inventory
Every URL on the existing site documented — pages, posts, categories, tags, attachments. Nothing left to chance before launch.
301 redirect map
Every changed URL mapped to its new destination. Reviewed, approved by you, implemented before go-live, and verified post-launch.
Schema preservation
All existing JSON-LD schema carried over and improved — LocalBusiness, Service, Article, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList as applicable.
Mobile-first rebuild
New site built mobile-first in a hand-coded WordPress theme — no builders, no bloat, no purchased templates.
Performance optimization
Target: top-quartile Core Web Vitals. Lean front-end, optimized images, CDN-ready, no plugin overhead.
SSL and security setup
SSL certificate, security headers, login protection, and WordPress hardening configured before launch.
GA4 and Search Console re-verification
Analytics and GSC re-verified on the new domain/structure. Conversion events confirmed firing. Crawl errors checked post-launch.
Training documentation
Walkthrough video and written docs covering how to update content, add pages, and manage the rebuilt site without touching code.
Post-launch monitoring (90 days)
We watch rankings, crawl errors, and 404s for 90 days after launch. If something surfaces, we fix it without extra billing.
What kind of rebuild do you need?
The process and planning depth varies depending on where you're coming from. Each scenario has its own technical considerations.
From Builder (Elementor / Divi / WPBakery)
Still on WordPress, but trapped in a builder. We extract the content, build a clean custom theme, and replace the bloat with a leaner, faster site on the same install.
→From Wix or Squarespace
Moving to WordPress for the first time. Full content migration, URL mapping, and a clean custom WordPress theme — with the SEO equity your existing domain has built up fully protected.
→WordPress Rebuild
Already on WordPress, but the theme is outdated, slow, or no longer matches the business. Complete rebuild in the same install or a fresh one, with full content carry-over.
→Post-Acquisition or Rebrand
Business was acquired, merged, or rebranded. Domain change, content consolidation, redirect architecture, new visual identity applied — handled methodically, not in a rush.
→SEO-Safe Redesign
Purely a visual and performance overhaul — same URLs, same structure, same content — just a new theme and a faster build. Maximum SEO preservation by design.
→The Tucson Web Design Co. Method.
Every rebuild and migration follows the same four-phase lifecycle. You'll always know what phase you're in and what happens next.

Authority-led rebuild for a specialized engineering consulting firm — credentialing depth, technical content structure, and a design that matches the firm's standing in its sector.
The questions we get most.
Will I lose my Google rankings during a redesign?
Not if it's done right. A poorly executed migration — missing redirects, URL structure changes without mapping, schema dropped — can cut organic traffic by 30–60%. Our process starts with a full URL inventory and redirect map before any design work begins. We've shipped migrations where not a single ranking was lost.
How do you preserve my content?
We audit every URL before we touch anything. Content that's earning traffic is flagged and protected. Content that needs improvement is identified early. Nothing disappears without a deliberate decision — and you approve the content plan before the build starts.
What if my site has 500 pages?
Larger inventories take more planning — the content audit and redirect map become significant deliverables in their own right. The build timeline and quote reflect real scope. We've handled large migrations before. The process scales; the methodology doesn't change.
How long does a migration take?
Straightforward redesigns (under 20 pages, no URL structure changes) typically ship in four to eight weeks. Platform migrations with large content inventories run eight to sixteen weeks. The planning phase — before any design work — adds time up front, but it's what protects the rankings you've already built.
Will my forms break?
We QA every form in the new build before launch — submission flow, CRM routing, confirmation emails, and GA4 event tracking. Forms are tested on both desktop and mobile. If you're changing CRM platforms at the same time, we handle the re-wiring as part of the migration scope.
What about images and media?
All existing media is migrated and re-optimized for the new build — compressed, properly named with SEO-appropriate filenames, alt text reviewed. If the original images are poor quality, we flag them and can help source or generate replacements.
What does a redesign or migration cost?
Simple redesigns (under 20 pages, same URL structure) start around $3,500–$6,000. Platform migrations with large content inventories and complex redirect maps typically run $6,000–$18,000 depending on scope. We quote the full picture before anything starts.
Do I need new hosting?
Not necessarily. If your current hosting is solid, we can build in a staging environment and cut over. If the current host is contributing to the performance problems (shared hosting overloaded, old PHP versions), we'll recommend a switch and handle the migration. It's an honest conversation, not an upsell.
Your old site doesn't have to hold you back.
Every redesign and migration starts with a conversation about what you have, what you want to keep, and what the new site needs to do. No pitch deck, no generic template proposal — just an honest look at the scope.
Send us your current site.
Not sure if your existing site is worth rebuilding or just patching? Send us the URL. We'll send back an honest audit covering SEO health, page speed, migration risk, and what a rebuild would actually involve — usually within 3 business days. No follow-up sales sequence.
